I would love to see a photo of you to compare! It was part of the original concept to crop the poor girl's head on the cover. seemed like a waste, really, but it's to allow the reader to imagine what she would look like. maybe in a future edition they will include the rest of her! Another little thing: I was asked to raise her neckline on the final cover, because someone in a bookstore somewhere was threatened by her cleavage! This culture is comfortable with all kinds of violence, but the gentle swell of a woman's breast is too much to take for some.James Griffinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07935010239427391085noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30041439.post-2761426660221737562008-09-05T20:12:00.000-04:002008-09-05T20:12:00.000-04:00Your original artwork is the most beautiful cover ...Your original artwork is the most beautiful cover art I've seen in years, if not ever. Now I know. :)

I showed the painting to my husband and one of our best friends. Both of them said "That's you!" I'm going to have to dress up like Maggie and take a photo. And if it's true, I am honored to have such a beautiful likeness out there in the world. It truly is a gorgeous painting!

Christine Blevins is touring Midwife of the Blue Ridge with Blog Stop Book Tours this month.
